Background Removal

Remove the background from a PNG, JPEG or WebP image and download a transparent PNG. Uses an existing local AI model on our CPU, with no external AI API. Results may need refinement around hair and complex objects. Video background removal is available as an experimental 12-second transparent MOV beta.

Experimental video background removal

Upload up to 12 seconds of MP4, MOV or WebM. Processing is CPU-only at 2 frames/second and returns a transparent MOV (QuickTime Animation with alpha). This beta favors bounded, honest processing over long-video claims.

Temporary source and output files are removed after the response. Requests are rate-limited and may be rejected when the shared video-processing slot is busy.
